Daoist Temple



In May our class took a field trip to a Daoist (Taoist) Temple.


A statue of Laozi the founder.



You can see the ying/yang symbol in a pool at the bottom.



Many people were lighting and burning incense.

    I think it has to do with offering up prayers to the god.
