One attraction just outside the city is the Night Safari. Think Jurassic Park meets The Lion King. There are two tram rides where we got to see various animals, and then there's a path around the lake that you can walk. We also paid 250 baht (~$8) to get our picture taken with a "baby" white tiger. If you know Eric, you know this was a highlight.
The tram rides were good for viewing, but not for photos. A) you couldn't use flash, and B) they didn't often stop long enough to get a night shot. So below is a game. See if you can guess the correct animal in the picture.

The photos reminded me of going to the zoo on our 6th grade class trip and taking pictures of all the animals. And then after you got your photos developed, you saw all these great pictures... of animals. Oh, I was so cool back then.
Loved this post! Matt thinks you should put the first picture on a t-shirt for Eric. :) Have that baby soon!
ReplyDeleteI only got the Giraffe right... You had me convinced on the black flamingo... AND the man in a bear suit :-)
