From Hong Kong we took a ferry to the island of Macau for a day.
It used to be a Portuguese colony, so many of the signs are in Portuguese and Chinese.
Religious beliefs
seem varied and mixed.
We saw Catholic churches,
temples outside homes and businesses,
and Robert Morrison's grave.
We got to try some local
food too! Eric did a great job eating a rather large sardine.
How did you learn about the island? Who dared Eric into eating a huge sardine? Was it raw?
