Busy...

We have been busy...

We took the train to go see friends.

We grilled out at the park.

We had some crazy fun game nights.

In addition...

Malachi worked on becoming famous by getting his picture in the paper

Eric had a good friend over who brought us nectarines with characters on them!

Miqi (pronounced me-chee) manned the grill at our picnic.

Together, Eric and Miqi worked to fix the hole in Miqi's bed.

Anqi (pronounced an-chee) taught us how to knit and discovered the latest fashion trend.

And I tried to feed Malachi ice-cream which he politely refused.

We've also been doing a lot with our friends, seeing many become part of the family, and trying to run hard our last two months here in East Asia.

Two Months and Mother's Day

Today is my first Mother's Day, and Malachi is also two months old. Last night he enlisted his dad to help with his gift. I got a mommy necklace (on its way) and a copy of Malachi's first book. It's awesome. Here are a few pages to give you a preview before it hits the presses.

Mitch and Andrea also used some of their babysitting time to help Malachi make me another awesome gift!

Fun Faces

This part of the country seems to skip spring and jump into summer. Today I think it's in the 90s, and the humidity is on it's way. Despite the weather, we're making the most of it!
(This of course does include eating great $.50 ice cream almost every day.)
