Rubber scrapers do not belong in blenders.
I should know, right? Growing up I learned by example about forks... At Jill's I tried a spoon... (she wasn't excited) Here I tried a rubber scraper... Better than metal, right?! (sigh...) Our children are destined to learn this bad habit. I just know it.

I'm surprised Erika hasn't done this yet...I'll let her share her kitchen "moments."
ReplyDeleteI could totally see myself making similar mistakes--definitely not beyond me... that's why I stick to frozen pizza :-)
ReplyDeletehahaha.. Darin... Erika is going to beat you up.
Oh my goodness...I have done this with the kitchen-aid mixer. It's easier on the spatula, but it inevitably sends whatever I am mixing flying all across the kitchen :)
ReplyDeleteAndrea, Andrea, Andrea you didn't learn the first 2 times? LOL Nice work on the spatula esp. since it's your own. My kitchen is safe w/ you over seas now. HAHAHA
